Horseback Riding Adventures • Boquete, Panama
No experience necessary—enjoy Panama like the locals. Transportation by horseback is still a way of life for most Panamanians, outside the city. Horses are less expensive to buy and maintain than cars. With the incredibly lush vegetation, and free range horses, it is not uncommon to wake up in the morning and find a horse grazing in your front yard. Horses allow us to travel greater distances, enjoy the scenery, and feel closer to nature.
All of the horses are trail trained and easy to ride, even for children; this is a great family adventure.
We have added several different options to your horseback riding experience in Panama.
Horseback Riding and Hot Springs
Night Tour
Horseback Riding under The Full Moon
For the really adventurous we have a Horseback Riding Trip, at night, to an old cemetery or the Hot Springs, ONLY available during the full moon. Full moons in Panama are extremely bright and very spiritual experiences. We start the tour with a 30 minute ride from Boquete to the Rancho. A gourmet dinner will be prepared for you while you sit on the deck overlooking the valley and mountains. As the sun sets you will ride out on horseback on the back road trails to the Hot Springs or an old cemetery. The ride to either option takes a little more than an hour. We will stop for a dip in the Hot Springs or reflection at the graveyard and enjoy the moon light; then we will head back to the Rancho and home. This is a 5+ hour tour. Pick-up at 6:00 pm at your hotel. (this tour includes hotel pick-up, bi-lingual guide, Gourmet Dinner, 2-3 hours of horseback riding, optional dip in pool.)
