Horseback Riding Adventures
No experience necessary—enjoy Panama like the locals. Transportation by horseback is still a way of life for most Panamanians, outside the city. Horses are less expensive to buy and maintain than cars. With the incredibly lush vegetation, and free range horses, it is not uncommon to wake up in the morning and find a horse grazing in your front yard. Horses allow us to travel greater distances, enjoy the scenery, and feel closer to nature.
All of the horses are trail trained and easy to ride, even for children; this is a great family adventure.

If you love horses, as we do, this is the ride for you. Enjoy the country side on one of our Panamanian horses. They are truly special to us. Many have been rescued from abusive situations. After a few months of free range pastures, super feed, bananas, and special horse cookies, they are ready for you to ride. Head out from the Ranch for a 2.5 hour ride. We have many easy trails to choose from: ride to the petroplyphs, hot springs, the back roads, or the cemetary (this is actually a really cool ride).

Horseback Riding and Hot Springs
Take a drive from Boquete to the town of Caldera. Hop on your horse for a 90 minute ride through the back roads of Caldera. After the ride we take you for a dip in the Caldera Hot Springs, and a swim in the river. If you don't want to ride a horse, you can hike the trails and see Iguana's and tropical birds, and then relax in the springs.
